With over 20 years of experience in the horticulture industry, I have had the privilege of working with some of the UK's top nurseries in various leadership roles.
My background includes developing new nursery sites, overseeing production and propagation, and managing plant sourcing and supply. I have provided plants and expertise to a wide range of clients, including garden designers, landscapers, property developers, local authorities, and private individuals.

My experience also extends to contract growing and custom-sourcing entire plant lists for prestigious events like the Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court, and Malvern. Additionally, I’ve worked with high-end garden design, landscape, and maintenance companies in London and throughout SE England, managing maintenance departments, creating soft landscaping designs, and overseeing large projects.
Hortus Operandi is the culmination of all this experience, offering horticultural consultancy services that benefit private estates, garden designers and landscape companies all across the UK, in all aspects of garden design and maintenance.
